Uvita is home to the famous “whale-tail” beach and is known for its biodiversity. Most of Uvita is densely covered by rainforest, aside from the quaint side of the highway town where you can find fantastic food and other essentials you might find yourself in need of. Because Uvita has so much forest and is settled right below the mountains, you can find some beautiful watering holes rushing downward, which are perfect for refreshing on a humid day!
