Emma has always had a love for cooking and baking. Naturally, after years of indulging in Costa Rica’s culture, she has also taken a liking to try out new dishes (often requested by her Costa Rican husband!). Dish after dish she is mastering the cuisine of Costa Rica, and sharing her results and recipes with you.
Emma in Costa Rica is an up-and-coming youtube channel in Costa Rica with 5000+ subscribers (and growing) and over 100 videos all about life in Costa Rica.
The Emma in Costa Rica channel was created in 2020 by bubbly Canadian ex-pat, Emma Feir, who moved to Costa Rica to work as a photographer in exchange for a place to stay. Emma noticed herself sharing more and more of her “Pura Vida” experiences with the world, enjoying every step of the way. Over time (and with the help of many curious people) she decided to take a hand at creating youtube videos to share her experiences, and thus a simple hobby fell into obsession. As part of the Costa Rican Community, it is important for Emma to lend a helping hand to her friends and community through tourism, by showing the best and the most interesting features of this beautiful country.
