San José is the capital city of Costa Rica, and is often left out of the traveler’s itinerary. In San José you will find many historic landmarks and museums, fun nightlife, and some great restaurants. You can also find many activities such as a visit to the mercado central, or a day trip to the Irazú Volcano.
